On November 16, 2023, the Alert Cybersecurity conference occurred at the Hilton Garden Inn in Zagreb, organized by ASEE (Asseco SEE) in partnership with Alfatec Group. 

The conference garnered significant interest, with all 180 seats being occupied and pre-reserved.

The event brought together experts and companies in the field of cybersecurity to share best practices and experiences. A notable presentation at the conference was delivered by Gabor Hirsch, Regional Sales Manager for Thales in the Adriatic region and Hungary. He introduced Thales' comprehensive data security solutions and aided companies in complying with the NIS2 directive, DORA, and other 18 directives and legal regulations.

The new Network and Information Systems Security (NIS2) Directive requires providers of essential services (such as energy, transportation, health, and banking) and digital service providers (including search engines and cloud services) to implement appropriate and proportionate security measures and report serious incidents to the national authority. NIS2 enacts into law by October 17, 2024.
