Alfatec Group participated in the 17th Job Fair from May 8th to 9th. The largest student job fair in Croatia, organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb, brought together numerous students and over 110 exhibitors.
We met many students of information and communication technologies who could talk to our colleagues from the Software Research & Development, Business Intelligence, IT Security, Databases, as well as Human Resources, and Marketing divisions on the spot. The most common questions were related to career opportunities in Alfatec Group and the IT Security department, as well as projects based on machine learning. A smaller number of students who were not familiar with our work before inquired about Alfatec in general.
Students could directly apply for open positions in Alfatec Group via QR codes, of which we currently have five; "Like last year, we are primarily looking for students interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence, as our own products, solutions, and projects are based on them. At this moment, we have two open calls for Software Research & Development, two open calls for the IT Security department, and one open call for the Business Intelligence department, including junior/mid positions. We are pleased to have a successful collaboration with the academic community for many years, and personal contact with students has always proven successful." – stated Suzana Srpak, HR Manager at Alfatec Group.
Despite the expected record attendance at our Leading booth this year, the number of interested students exceeded all expectations and pleasantly surprised us, and our #Alfatim was ready to answer all questions.
With smiles from our colleagues, this year, our innovative (and always interesting to students) promotional gifts from Croatian manufacturers welcomed them at our booth!
