Adriatic Sea Defence & Aerospace - ASDA 2023 (Zadar, May 2023), an Exhibition & Conference is a specialized international event for defense, cyber defense, homeland security, and aerospace.
Alfatec Group will have chance to present the HYBRID “Hydrogen Battlefield Reconnaissance and Intelligence Drone” project, officially funded by European Defence Fund (EDF). The value of the project is almost 3.4 million €, and it is important not only for Alfatec Group but also for the European Union.
This project was developed by Alfateam, in partnership with French company Delair, a leading international provider of high-performance drone-based solutions and Greek ISD SA Integrated Systems Development.
HYBRID is a drone designed for reconnaissance and surveillance powered by fuel cells. In this project, Alfatec Group will develop software with the ability to recognize objects on the ground using artificial intelligence.
These drones provide high-quality accurate RGB, LiDAR, or multispectral data and may also be the preferred choice for night and day surveillance of infrastructure or sensitive areas.
EDF supports high-end defense capability projects such as the next generation of aircraft fighters, tanks, and ships, as well as critical defense technologies such as military cloud, AI, semiconductors, space, and cyber or medical counter-measures. It also spearheads disruptive technologies, notably in quantum technologies and new materials, and taps into promising SMEs and start-ups.
The International Exhibition of Weapons and Military Equipment Manufacturers is being held for the eighth time (the first time in Zadar) under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The exhibition is closed to the public. ASDA has already proven itself as a platform for concluding new deals, and Croatian manufacturers have a respectable place in the market.
