Alfatec Group was pleased to host a workshop titled "DokumentirAI," dedicated to the importance of documenting research and development work. This workshop was held as a part of the LUMEN Data Science competition organized by the eStudent association and provided an opportunity for interaction with students and the presentation of our business and tasks.
The first part of the workshop focused on formal presentations and activities, while the second part was reserved for informal socializing and getting to know the various departments of our company and our experts. Considering the specific nature of Alfatec's business, our goal was to familiarize students with our tasks, processes, and objectives.
Students participated in the interactive DokumentirAI workshop, designed to introduce them to the importance of documentation in research and development work. Through practical examples and discussions, they gained insight into documentation processes and how to apply them in future projects. After the formal part, they also got acquainted with our departments - Business Intelligence, Information Management, IT Security, and R&D - through brief presentations of tasks, expectations, and opportunities for involvement. Alongside department presentations, students toured our newly renovated Zagreb office, conversed with employees from various sectors, and learned about the specifics of their jobs. This informal gathering allowed students to ask questions and discuss their interests and future career opportunities.
We believe that we successfully introduced our business and objectives to the student population through this workshop and career opportunities. Our collaboration with these talented students continues at eStudent's LUMEN Data Science competition and with the academic community at FER's JobFair in May!
