Last weekend, we decided to escape our office chairs and screens for a while, recharge our batteries, and explore some of Croatia’s most beautiful natural gems together: Rastoke, Barać Caves, and Plitvice Lakes National Park. A perfect mix of nature, great food, fun, and team building at its best!
We kicked off the day with a tour of the Barać Caves, where our guide led us through an underground world filled with stalactites, fascinating legends, and impressive natural sights. After the caves, we treated ourselves to a well-deserved lunch at Restaurant Degenija, enjoying traditional local cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere.
A short drive later, we arrived in Rastoke, a place straight out of a fairytale. With a local guide, we strolled past waterfalls, old watermills, and heard stories about fairies said to protect this magical spot.
Of course, we didn’t miss the chance to taste homemade rakija, liqueurs, and gin at the Magdić family farm, where we were warmly welcomed.
We settled in at Hotel Mirjana, had a delicious dinner, and kept the good vibes going at a DJ party late into the night.
The second day was reserved for Plitvice Lakes. A walk through the national park, a boat ride, and breathtaking views of the waterfalls. Every trail and lake offered a new opportunity for great photos and even better memories.
To wrap it up, an excellent lunch at Lička Kuća and a return home.
