On January 29th, Alfatec Group hosted students from Ivan Gundulić Elementary School and Jabukovac Elementary School and introduced them to artificial intelligence through conversation, concrete examples, and technologies that are already being applied in real projects today.
Some of the topics we studied were: how computers recognize faces, how generative AI works, what learning looks like with Kwizard.hr, and what applications drones have and how they use artificial intelligence.
The emphasis was on understanding through experience rather than theory, which stimulated interest, curiosity, and questions from students.
The visits were held as part of the BrAIn project, in collaboration with CARNET, with the support of the European Social Fund Plus. We would like to thank CroAI for the invitation to the project and the organization of this inspiring meeting.
