The European directive NIS2 and the DORA regulation bring numerous changes in the field of cyber security.
The Bootcamp takes place on Thursday, May 25th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, and this is the last chance to register for the event.
Thales' experts will explain all the novelties brought by NIS2 and DORA, and discover ways to achieve compliance for your business.
After the opening speech of Alfatec's Azur Šaćiragić, Gabor Hirsch will explain how Thales facilitates compliance with the NIS2 / DORA directives, while another Thales expert, Jaroslaw Ulczok, will present payShield in the service of new Fintech trends. After the coffee break, we will talk about how encryption helps protect your sensitive data, using Cipher Trust Platform use cases as an example.
The DORA Regulation addresses an important issue for the financial regulation of the European Union. DORA will apply to a wide range of financial entities, including credit institutions, electronic money institutions, investment firms, insurance undertakings, and reinsurance undertakings. They must follow rules for the protection, detection, containment, recovery, and repair capabilities against ICT-related incidents (Information and communication technology).
NIS2 represents the evolution of the NIS Directive (2016), which requires EU member states to take measures to improve the cyber security of networks and information systems. It requires providers of essential services (such as energy, transport, health, and banking) and providers of digital services (such as search engines and cloud services) to implement appropriate and proportional security measures and to report serious incidents to the national authority.
The start of the bootcamp is scheduled for Thursday, May 25th at 9:30 a.m. and will last until 2 p.m. Anyone who hasn't signed up yet has the chance to do so here.
