Important topics from the field of IT security were discussed, but trends in Encryption in 2023, Quantum Cryptography, and the NIS 2 Directive attracted special attention. The NIS 2 Directive and the DORA Regulation will be discussed at the Thales NIS2 / DORA Bootcamp 2023, which will be held on Thursday (May 25th) at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. The new Directive states that "solutions for lawful access to information in end-to-end encrypted communications must maintain the effectiveness of encryption in protecting the privacy and security of communications while providing an effective response to crime." However, in terms of scope, the European Council proposes to exclude organizations operating in the fields of defense, national security, and public safety from the Directive. The exception also applies to law enforcement, the judiciary, parliaments, and central banks.

Thales' experts will explain all the details of the directive, and how they can help you align your business with the new regulations that will soon come into force.

Our representatives in Warsaw used the opportunity to socialize with our long-term partners - Thales and Alfatec next year will mark three full decades of successful cooperation. Together, we foster a relationship full of trust between companies, which has resulted in a wide range of joint projects and partnerships. And we are sure that it will be like that in the future.
