This course is designed for IT personnel and advanced business users. The course will deal with the Universe Designer tool, and the steps needed for creating a semantic layer (Universe). The semantic layer is necessary in order to execute the links between tools for the production of reports and databases, and thereby for end users to be able to access data from the database or data warehouse. The course will go through all the phases of Universe production, from creating the Universe to connecting with the database, creating classes and objects, predefining filters and functions, etc.
Previous experience necessary: basic knowledge of databases (tables, structures, connections, queries, etc.)
